Honey Field Farm is a 25-acre organic vegetable farm located in Norwich, VT operated by husband and wife team Eli Hersh and Valerie Woodhouse.

Honey Field Farm grows top quality organic vegetables, bedding plants, and value-added products. They maintain a small market garden with staple crops such as lettuce, carrots, beans, tomatoes, squash, melons, and berries to stock a farm stand and sell overflow to local retail markets. They have also carefully selected six crops for wholesale with high market demand as staple and specialty products that grow well in sandy loam soils. Wholesale vegetable products include hot peppers, cucumbers, broccoli, radicchio, and winter squash. They also sell bedding plants including annual and perennial flowers, as well as organic vegetable and herb starts. Their unique value-added line of pickled hot peppers, hot sauce, relish, and more are sold directly at the farm stand, as well as through local and regional co-ops and stores.

Eli and Valerie purchased the farm (formerly known as Kildeer Farm) in 2019 with help from Dirt Capital Partners.

A $30,000 Business Builder Loan from the Vermont Farm Fund will help Eli and Valerie as they get established on this new property and help them to invest in equipment to be able to work efficiently, including a cultivating tractor, ice machine, golf cart, display cooler, and credit card machines.
