Newland’s Goat Dairy Farm

Francis and Stephanie Newland started out just three years ago with a few dozen goats at Newland’s Goat Dairy. Now they milk 130 goats and came to the Vermont Farm Fund with a request to expand their herd with another 150 milkers, more than doubling their current production. They sell their goat milk to Vermont Creamery in Graniteville. Their goal is to get up to milking 500 goats within the next few years and to build a barn on their property in Plainfield.
