Peabody Mountain Apiaries

Peabody Mountain Apiaries in Weston, VT started in 2007 with just one hive. Over the years they have grown to 12 hives and are planning to add more this season with a $15,000 Vermont Farm Fund Business Builder loan. They produce raw honey, creamed honey, comb honey, honey glycerin soaps, beeswax candles, granola, foaming pump soap, beeswax ornaments, honey lip balm salve, and honey-sweetened berry jams with their own berries. In addition they grow 4 types of berries, lettuce and kale to sell locally to restaurants.

You can find the owners, Steven and Carol Maclaury, selling their wares at the West River Farmers Market on Saturdays.
